The five FCAI ATV Group members (BRP, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha) are united in their positions on ATV Safety. These are the only Manufacturers committed to importing ATVs that meet the American National Safety Institute (ANSI) Standards for ATVs into Australia.
These manufacturers through their FCAI membership not only bring in vehicles of a very high standard, they are:
- involved in safety research both in Australia and overseas
- rely on scientific research to inform their positions and to develop safety materials
- communicate the known safety practices through a number of methods including their dealers
- Provide users with many safety resources in order to improve safety outcomes for all ATV riders
